Spotkajmy się tłumnie, żeby wspólnie ustawić się w napis ДЕТИ (pol. “dzieci”). To nawiązanie do słowa namalowanego przed Teatrem Dramatycznym w Mariupolu, w Ukrainie – prostego znaku, który miał chronić cywilów i dzieci ukrywających się w budynku teatru, a stał się symbolem rosyjskich zbrodni wojennych. 16 marca 2022 teatr został zbombardowany. Cztery lata po pełnoskalowej inwazji rosji na Ukrainę wojna wciąż trwa. 

To krótki, oddolny happening solidarnościowy w przestrzeni publicznej, bez przemówień i nagłośnienia.

Jak dołączyć: po prostu przyjdź o 13:00 na Plac Defilad (między Teatrem Studio a Teatrem Dramatycznym). Będziemy na miejscu w kamizelkach odblaskowych. Pokażemy ci jak i gdzie się ustawić. Weź ze sobą znajomych. Niech nas będzie dużo!

Let’s all gather to form the word ДЕТИ (English: “children”). This is a reference to the word painted in front of the Drama Theater in Mariupol, in Ukraine—a simple sign that was supposed to protect civilians and children hiding in the theater building, but became a symbol of Russian war crimes. On March 16, 2022, the theater was bombed. Four years after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the war is still going on. 

This is a short, grassroots solidarity happening in public space, without speeches or sound systems.

How to join: just come at 1:00 p.m. to Defilad Square (between the Studio Theater and the Dramatic Theater). We will be there wearing reflective vests. We will show you how and where to stand. Bring your friends. Let’s make it a big turnout!
