Performer, tancerz, aktor, choreograf, artywista, animator kontrkultury, dramaturg. Absolwent i stażysta Akademii Praktyk Teatralnych „Gardzienice” (2001-2003). Absolwent dwuletniego (2019-20) kursu choreografii eksperymentalnej “Choreografia w Centrum”  kolektywu Centrum w Ruchu i Fundacja Burdąg i absolwent Szkoły Dramaturgów Społecznych (2020) fundacji Strefa WolnoSłowa i Teatru Powszechnego w Warszawie. Ukończyłem “IC School of A New Dance Development” Academy of Theater and Dance – Amsterdam University of the Arts (2022) oraz roczny kurs (2022-23) teatru dokumentalnego “Teatr na faktach” w Inst. J. Grotowskiego we Wrocławiu. Jestem po licznych intensywnych kursach ruchowo-tanecznych pod szyldem Axis Syllabus, Fighting Monkey, Ido Portal, Animal Flow, Formless Art, Movement Archery i in. Jako performer i tancerz, w latach 2008 – 18 byłem w zespole artystycznym teatru Komuna/Warszawa, a  w latach 2013 – 16 w zespole Chóru Kobiet Marty Górnickiej. Od 2016 na stałe jestem związany z działaniami społeczno-artystycznymi fundacji Strefa WolnoSłowa jako performer, choreograf i edukator. Współpracowałem z licznymi artystami_kami z kraju i z zagranicy na polu działań tanecznych i performatywnych, m.in.: Teatr „Chorea”, Kan Katsura (Japonia), Roza Sarkizian (Ukraina), Agnieszka Błońska, Filip Szatarski, Olga Mysłowska, Weronika Pelczyńska, Aleksandra Osowicz, Anna Godowska, Negar Farajiani (Iran), Thierry Verger (Francja), Andrew Wass (USA/Niemcy), João Galante i Daniel Matos (Portugalia), Het Veem Theatre (Holandia), Zeitraumexit (Niemcy), Cantieri Mettici (Włochy) i wiele innych.

2024: W lutym odbył się pokaz mojego czytania performatywnego “Szpieg z krainy Głuchych” na zakończenie rocznego kursu teatru dokumentalnego “Teatr na faktach” w sali Laboratorium Instytutu J. Grotowskiego we Wrocławiu. A w kwietniu w Centrum Sztuki Współczesnej “Łaźnia” II odbył się performans z moim udziałem na otwarcie wystawy Pameli Leończyk “Na(tura)dzieja umiera ostatnia”.

2023: Jako choreograf pracowałem nad spektaklem Aleksandry Popławskiej “Mój sztandar zasikał kotek. Kroniki z Donbasu” w TR Warszawa. Premiera odbyła się w 28 kwietnia.

W lipcu, wraz z zespołem Strefy WolnoSłowej odbyłem rezydencję w Bolonii (Włochy) w teatrze Cantieri Meticci pracując nad spektaklem IMPERIUM w reż. Alicji Borkowskiej. W spektaklu jestem performerem i osobą odpowiedzialną za choreografię. Spektakl został wybrany do realizacji w ramach “Szekspir Off” Gdańskiego Festiwalu Szekspirowskiego. Premiera odbyła się w Gdańsku 3 sierpnia.

Ruszyły dwa 3-letnie projekty artystyczno-edukacyjne, w których jestem edukatorem i prowadzę zajęcia performatywno-choreograficzne: projekt Stowarzyszenia Pedagogów Teatru “Młodzieżowa Koalicja Performatywna” we współpracy z Teatrem Dramatycznym w Warszawie i projekt Fundacji Strefa WolnoSłowa “Młodzieżowe Laboratorium Praktyk Twórczych” we współpracy z Teatrem Powszechnym w Warszawie.

Na początku grudnia, w teatrze Dramatycznym w Warszawie odbyła się premiera spektaklu “Lista Uchybień” w reż. Pameli Leończyk. W spektaklu jest aktorem i odpowiadam za choreografię. A w połowie grudnia w Teatrze Powszechnym na Scenie 100 – pod moją opieką artystyczną – odbył się pokaz performansu “Rytuał” na zakończenie I etapu Młodzieżowego Laboratorium Praktyk Twórczych fundacji Strefa WolnoSłowa.

2022: we wrześniu, w ramach ministerialnego programu “Przestrzenie sztuki”, odbyłem rezydencję artystyczną w Lubelskim Teatrze Tańca razem z Pamelą Leończyk, Filipem Kijowskim i Olą Matlingiewicz pracując nad projektem o internetowych patostreamach pt. “Pato jest wtedy”. Pokaz pracy w procesie odbył się 26.09 w Centrum Kultury w Lublinie.

W czerwcu zakończyło się moje półroczne stypendium artystyczne z m.st. Warszawa na realizację projektu badawczo-choreograficznego MIASTO NATURA CIAŁO. W wyniku stypendium powstał spacer performatywny “Ruch nieplanowany wokół PKiN”, happening “Pomnik przyrody” przy ul. Towarowej 7A w Warszawie i pokaz pracy w procesie nad moim solo spektaklem tenecznym BADYLE w Szkole przy ul. E. Plater 31 w Warszawie (lipiec).

W czerwcu otrzymałem rezydencję artystyczną “Karawany klimatyczne czyli sztuka i aktywizm w dobie kryzysu klimatycznego” fundacji Otwarty Plan w Krakowie. a w maju zostałem wybrany jako delegat w ramach “NATURE OF US – Research Sessions and Conferences For Central European Performance Projects about the Natural World” na wyspie Sobieszewskiej.

W marcu (26.03), w krakowskiej Cricotece, odbyłą się oficjalna premiera spektaklu “Perfect Man” poprzedzona rezydencją w czeskim Żdarze nad Sazawą w ramach Center for Choreographic Development SE.S.TA z Pragi (w styczniu odbył się pokaz pracy w procesie w Krakowskim Centrum Choreograficznym).

W 2021 roku, razem z Katarzyną Pawlak i Igą Dzięgielewską zrealizowałem wideo-performance taneczny “Post Hope“, który otrzymał nagrodę w konkursie “Choreografia w_SIECI” Centrum Teatru i Tańca w Warszawie. W miesiącach letnich odbyły się audio spacery performatywne fundacji Strefa WolnoSłowa z udziałem białoruskich performerek i performerów: “Strefa / BY Project“, w którym współtworzyłem z zespołem choreografię. We wrześniu, razem z Anną Jurek i Tatianą Cholewą, odbyłem rezydencję w Czechach, w Bohema Farmstudio w ramach Visegrad  Artist Residency Program—Performing Arts, w wyniku ktorej powstał spektakl w procesie “Perfect Man“. We wrześniu również odbyła się premiera spektaklu z moim udziałem “Piłsudska Unmuted” w reż. Pameli Leończyk. W październiku miała miejsce premiera mojego performancu “One Man Festival” z udziałem Krystyny Mazurówny i Szymona Lempkowskiego na międzynarodowym festiwalu sztuki tańca i performancu “Ciało/Umysł”. W listopadzie pokazy wystawy performatywnej STRAJK z aktor(k)ami z Białorusi w reż. Alicji Borkowskiej, z moją choreografią a w grudniu na Małej Scenie Teatru Powszechnego w Warszawie czytanie performatywne z moim udziałem tekstów na zakończenie Szkoły Dramaturgów Społecznych Strefy WolnoSłowa i Teatru Powszechnego. W grudniu również pokaz na Akademii Teatralnej w Warszawie performancu “Granie na czekanie” w reż. Natalii Kobryń, w którym byłem performerem i choreografem.

Rok 2020 to pokaz premierowy (29.09) w Instytucie Teatralnym mojego solo tanecznego “Sztuczne ciało” w ramach II Kongresu Tańca w Warszawie. Stypendium “Mobilni w kulturze” miasta stołecznego Warszawa (wrzesień-październik) na realizację projektu “Jarmark Europa. Re/konstrukcja performatywna”. Stypendium (sierpień-grudzień) w ramach programu British Council –  Europe Beyond Access “Taniec i niepełnosprawność. Przekraczanie granic”. Nagroda (maj) w konkursie Centrum Teatru i Tańca “Taniec w_Sieci. Interdyscyplinarność” za wideo-performance “Nie my. Taneczne kino nieme”. Rezydencja artystyczna (marzec-kwiecień) w “Centrum w Ruchu” w ramach kursu “Choreografia w centrum” przy wsparciu Fundacji Burdąg oraz rezydencja (maj-czerwiec) w galerii BWA Warszawa, w trakcie których pracowałem nad swoim solo tanecznym “Sztuczne ciało”. Otrzymałem również rezydencję Visegrad Artist Residency Program—Performing Arts na 2021 rok w ramach International Visegrad Fund. Jako choreograf rozpocząłem pracę przy projekcie filmowym Jaśminy Wójcick “Król Maciuś I – dokument kreacyjny”. Zacząłem również współpracę z kolektywem Laboratorium Teatralno-Społeczne / Stowarzyszenie Pedagogów Teatru, z którym zrealizowałem spektakl “Lekcje oporu” o strajku nauczycielek i nauczycieli z 2019 roku.

W 2019 w listopadzie, w Teatro Galibardi we włoskim Palermo odbyła się prapremiera mojego performatywnego solo tanecznego “ManufacTourist” na artywistycznym “Transeuropa Festival” w ramach II Biennale Arcipelago Mediterraneo. Między 11 a 20 grudnia w ramach wystawy fotografii Karoliny Gembary “Zimowy umysł” w galerii Program w Warszawie, można było oglądać mój wideo-performance “Przejście”, który wykonałem razem z Urszulą Gawlik. Również w grudniu 2019, w Fabryce Sztuki w Łodzi odbyła się premiera mojego performancu tanecznego “KolażXX” z okazji otwarcia wystawy o legendarnej łódzkiej galerii ŚLAD.

Na początku 2019 roku powołałem do życia nieformalną grupę performatywno-taneczną „Grupa Ruchoma”, z którą do tej pory zrealizowałyśmy na zaproszenie Muzeum Sztuki Nowoczesnej w Warszawie live performance “Performance Not War” (2019) i wideo-performance “Elia” (2020) oraz na zaproszenie austryjackiego kolektywu “Althgrund” Academy of Fine Arts Vienna i TU Spatial Planning w Wiedniu, performance “Droga bez wEjsćia”. Gościłyśmy na sesji networkingowej w ramach Polskiej Platformy Tańca 2019 w Gdańsku.

W latach 2013 – 2016 byłem związany z teatrem chórowym Marty Górnickiej “Chór Kobiet”, jako performer, tancerz i asystent reżyserki. Jako zaproszony artysta uczestniczyłem w wielu festiwalach (m.in. „PraPremier” w Bydgoszczy, „Malta” w Poznaniu, „Underground Zero” w Nowym Jorku, „Fadjr” w Teheranie, „Chantiers d’Europe” w Paryżu, „Tmu-Na” w Telavivie czy “Dresden Hellerau Theater Festival” w Niemczech). Od 2016 związany jestem z działaniami teatralnymi i performatywnymi fundacji Strefa WolnoSłowa z siedzibą w Teatrze Powszechnym w Warszawie, jako aktor, tancerz i choreograf, prowadząc również warsztaty taneczno-choreograficzno-ruchowe w Warszawie, Teheranie, Montevideo, Paryżu, Antwerpii, Amsterdamie, Geteborgu, Bratysławie, Bolonii, Elbasan. Od 2018 pod auspicjami fundacji prowadzę “Międzypokoleniowy Chór Ruchowy”, zajęcia taneczno-ruchowe dla osób 60+/-. Od 2015 roku jestem związany z międzynarodową społecznością tańca kontaktu improwizacji Radical Contact jako uczestnik i couch.

Jestem artystą sztuk walki, certyfikowanym instruktorem samoobrony, trenerem sportów walki K1/Muay Thai, posiadaczem czerwonego pasa w Taekwon Do ITF. Jestem instruktorem II stopnia gimnastyczno-tanecznego systemu Animal Flow łączącego jogę, capoiere, stretching, parkour, kalistenikę i taniec w oparciu o ruchy zwierząt. Jestem fascynatem ruchu naturalnego, organicznej siły i freerunningu.

Stale się szkolę i uczę na licznych kursach i warsztatach choreograficzno-ruchowych  oraz sam prowadzę zajęcia oraz warsztaty z ruchu, sztuk walki, tańca i choreografii.

Graduate of two-year course of “Experimental Choreography” by Centrum w Ruchu (Center in Motion) Collective (2019-20) and the School of Social Dramaturgy (2020) by Strefa WolnoSłowa Foundation and Powszechny Theater in Warsaw and “IC SNDO – Choreography” Academy of Theater and Dance – Amsterdam University of the Arts (2022). In years 2008-18 I was a member of Komuna/Warszawa Theater Company as a performer and dancer. From 2013 to 2016 I was a performer, dancer and director assistant of Marta Górnicka’s “Chór kobiet” (Women’s Choir). Since 2016, I have been permanently involved in the socio-artistic activities of the Strefa WolnoSłowa Foundation as a performer, choreographer and educator. 2024: In February, there was a show of my performative reading “Spy from the Land of the Deaf” at the end of the annual course of documentary theater “Theater on Facts” at the Laboratory Space of the J. Grotowski Institute in Wroclaw. And in April, the Center for Contemporary Art “Laznia” II held a performance with my participation for the opening of Pamela Leończyk’s exhibition “(Nature) Hope dies last.”

2023: As a choreographer, I worked on Aleksandra Poplawskaya’s play “Mój sztandar zasikał kotek. Kroniki z Donbasu” at TR Warsaw Theater. The premiere took place in April 28.

In July, together with the team of Strefa WolnoSłowa, I had a residency in Bologna (Italy) at the Cantieri Meticci theater working on the play IMPERIUM, directed by Alicja Borkowska. The play was selected for production as part of the “Shakespeare Off” of the Gdansk Shakespeare Festival. The premiere took place in Gdansk on August 3.

Two 3-year artistic-educational projects have been launched, in which I am an educator and conduct performative-choreographic classes: the project of the Association of Theater Educators “Youth Performative Coalition” in cooperation with the Teatr Dramatyczny in Warsaw, and the project of the Strefa WolnoSłowa Foundation “Youth Laboratory of Creative Practices” in cooperation with Teatr Powszechny in Warsaw.

In early December, the premiere of the play “Lista Uchybień,” dir by Pamela Leończyk, took place at the Dramatic Theater in Warsaw. In the play, I’m an actor and I am responsible for the choreography. And in mid-December, at the Powszechny Theater on Stage 100 – under my artistic supervision – there was a performance show “Ritual” at the end of the first stage of the Youth Creative Practices Laboratory of the Strefa WolnoSłowa foundation.

2022: In September, under ministerial programm “Przestrzenie sztuki” (Spaces of Art) I did an artistic residency at Lublin Dance Theatre together with Pamela Leończyk, Filip Kijowski and Ola Matlingiewicz working on a project about internet patostreams “Pato jest wtedy” (Pato is then). The show of the work in process was 26.09.

In June I finished my artistic scholarship from the City of Warsaw for the realization of the research and choreographic project CITY NATURE BODY. The scholarship resulted in a performance walk ‘Unplanned Movement around PKiN’, a happening ‘Nature Monument’ at 7A Towarowa Street in Warsaw and a show of the work in process on my solo dance performance BADYLE (“Paddles”) at the School at 31 E. Plater Street in Warsaw (July).

In March (26.03) I had the official premiere of the “Perfect Man” performance in Cricoteka in Krakow, preceded by the residency in Zdar nad Sazavou in the Czech Republic as part of the Center for Choreographic Development SE.S.TA from Prague (in January the work in process was shown at the Krakow Choreographic Centre).

In June I was awarded the residency “Climate Caravans or Art and Activism in Times of Climate Crisis” by the Otwarty Plan Foundation. And in May I was selected as a delegate within NATURE OF US – Research Sessions and Conferences For Central European Performance Projects about the Natural World.

In 2021, together with Katarzyna Pawlak and Iga Dzięgielewska, I made a dance video performance “Post Hope”, which received an award in the “Choreography w_SIECI” competition at the Theater and Dance Center in Warsaw. In the summer months, there were audio performative walks of the Strefa WolnoSłowa foundation with the participation of Belarusian performers: “Strefa / BY Project”, in which I co-created the choreography with the group. In September, together with Anna Jurek and Tatiana Cholewa, I had a residency in the Czech Republic, at Bohema Farmstudio as part of the Visegrad Artist Residency Program — Performing Arts, which resulted in a performance in the process “Perfect Man”. In September, the premiere of the performance with my participation, “Piłsudska Unmuted”, dir. Pamela Leończyk. In October, the premiere of my performance “One Man Festival” with the participation of Krystyna Mazurówna and Szymon Lempkowski at the international festival of dance and performance “Ciało/Umysł”. In November, shows of the performance exhibition STRAJK with the performers from Belarus, dir. Alicja Borkowska, with my choreography, and in December, on the Small Stage of the Powszechny Theater in Warsaw, a performative reading with my participation of texts at the end of the School of Social Dramatists of Strefa WolnoSłowa and Teatr Powszechny. In December also show of the performance “Granie na czekanie” dir. Natalia Kobryń, where I was a performer and choreographer.

2020 is the premiere (September) at the Theater Institute of my solo in the process “Artificial Body” as part of the 2nd Dance Congress in Warsaw. “Mobilni w Kultrze” scholarship from the capital city of Warsaw (September-October) for the implementation of the project “Jarmark Europa. Performative Reconstruction”. Scholarship (August-December) within the British Council – Europe Beyond Access program “Dance and disability. Crossing the borders”. Award (May) in the competition “Dance In the_Net”. Interdisciplinarity” in the competition organized by the Center for Theater and Dance in Warsaw for the video performance “Not us. Silent dance cinema”. Artistic residency (March-April) at “Centrum w Ruchu” as part of the “Choreography in the center” course with the support of the Burdąg Foundation and residency (May-June) at the BWA Warszawa gallery, during which I worked on my dance solo “Artificial Body”. I also received the “Visegrad Artist Residency Program — Performing Arts” for 2021 under the International Visegrad Fund. As a choreographer, I started working on the film project by Jaśmina Wójcick “Król Maciuś I – creation document”. I also started cooperation with the Social Theater Laboratory collective / Theater Educators Association, with which I realized the show “Lessons of Resistance” about the teachers’ strike in 2019.

In November 2019, at the Teatro Galibardi in Palermo, Italy, there were premiere of my performative dance solo “ManufacTourist” at “Transeuropa Festival” as part of the 2nd Biennale Arcipelago Mediterraneo. Between 11 and 20 December, as part of the photography exhibition of Karolina Gembara “Winter Mind” in the Program gallery in Warsaw, you can watch my video-performance “The Passage”, which I made together with Urszula Gawlik. Also in December 2019, at the Art Factory in Łódź, the premiere of my dance performance “KolażXX” took place on the occasion of the opening of the exhibition about the legendary ŚLAD gallery in Łódź.

At the beginning of 2019 I established informal performative-dance group “Grupa Ruchoma” (Moving Group). So far we have completed one performance for Museum Of Modern Art in Warsaw “Performance Not War” and performance “The Way Without Entry” at the invitation of the Austrian “Althgrund” collective Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and TU Spatial Planning in Vienna. We also participated in networking session during Polish Dance Platform 2019 in Gdansk City.

I’m graduate of two-year-cours (2019-20) of experimental choreography “Choregraphy In The Center” led by Maria Stokłosa, Magda Ptasznik i Renata Piotrowska-Auffret (Centrum w Ruchu Collectiv and Fundacja Burdąg). In Warsaw, in Powszechny Theater, in Stół Powszechny I lead “Intergeneration Movement Choir” for 60 +/- people.

Between 2013 – 2016 I worked for choir theater of Marta Górnicka’s “Women’s Choir” as a performer, dancer and director’s assistant. From 2008 I’m associated with Komuna/Warszawa Theater Company and production house as a performer and actor. As a guest artist I participated in many festivals, among others: “PraPremiery” in Bydgoszcz city, “Malta” in Poznań city, “Undergroundzero” in New York, Fadjr” in Teheran, „Chantiers d’Europe” in Paris, “Tmu-Na” in Telaviv or “Dresden Hellerau Theater Festival” in Germany. Since 2016 I’m associated with theater and performative activities of Strefa WolnoSłowa Foundation based in “Powszechny” Theater in Warsaw as an actor, dancer and choreographer. I also lead dance-choreography-movement workshops in Warsaw, Teheran, Montevideo, Paris, Antverp, Amsterdam, Geteborg, Bratislava, Bolognia, Elbasan. Since 2015 I’m associated with international contact improvisation dance community “Radical Contact” as a participant and couch.

I’m martial artist, certified self-defense instructor, martial sports trainer of K1/Muay Thai, I have red belt of Taekwon-Do ITF. I’m Level 2 instructor of Animal Flow gymnast-dance-like training system matching Yoga, Capoiera, stretching, parkour, calisthenics and dance based on animal moves. I’m lover of Natural Movement, organic power and Frerunning.

I’m constantly participating in many dance and movement courses and I, myself, I’m leading different movement, martial arts, dance and choreography workshops.
